Webb4 juni 2009 · I have found that heavier grease in cold weather makes the screws a bear to turn. I have also used Wd-40, but you have to keep re-applying it during the job. As for cleaning the threads, I scrape as much junk off with a metal scraper, then I use any degreaser solvent that I can find. Webb25 aug. 2015 · Just clogged the damn hole with grease :lol: :lol: well i dont give a crap about it, it works, and next time it will rattle, i will just clean it and do the same. blower fan btw. if you have any oil for bike or something, id rather use that. grease is last resort and if you dont give a toss. and also, it doesnt leak.
