WebApr 11, 2024 · I installed a slug power kit and a huma high airflow tranfer port to my Maverick Compact in .22 a few days ago. Velocities were OK, got the 23g Javelin slugs to 1100 fps but i felt like i was wasting a lot of air, shotcount was pretty low and accuracy was quit bad. Also my consistency over the FX Chrony was pretty bad. WebMar 21, 2024 · Currently looking at possibly acquiring a .22 to accurately shoot slugs around 200 yards. Been considering FX Maverick or possibly a RAW HM1000x. I currently have a HM1000x in .25 that shoots 25.4gr very well. Can usually shoot 5 shot groups at 70 yards that can be covered with a nickel.
