Unless a game lets you host your own servers online, or over LAN in which case it doesn't matter if developer servers exist. I have been trying to play the game now for 3 days without success. I have reinstalled once and verified files three times and still it falls over. I have no issues with starting or playing any of Far Cry, or numbers 2, 4, 5 and New Dawn.
